amongst the top 20 state schools in the UK. The region is famous for its many golf courses including championship courses, amongst them the world's second oldest 18 hole course North Berwick West Links, as well as in neighbouring Gullane, Archerfield and The Golf Open course Muirfield.
North Berwick is situated in East Lothian, the country’s sunshine capital, with the least rainfall in Scotland.
